Nissan Juke debuting across the country this fall
Nissan confirmed recently that their new compact SUV will be on lots this fall across America, including New Jersey Nissan dealer Hudson Nissan. America’s first official look at the spunky vehicle will come early spring at the New York Auto show.
Nissan has described the Juke as “a sporty crossover alternative to traditional small hatchback vehicles.” From the few pictures currently available, I’d have to say Nissan has designed an extremely sharp looking SUV. The small frame has great, coupe-like curves that at first glance reminded me of a Porsche Cayenne. The back end sits lower than the front, creating an appealing line that makes you look twice. I cannot decide if I think the back end resembles more a bigger SUV or a crossover. However, the combination of these distinctly different features makes the Juke one of the best looking (and affordable) new cars.
Hudson’s Nissan dealer in New Jersey feels this small SUV will fit many drivers’ needs well. Personally, I long for the space an SUV has to offer, but love the ability of my two-door coupe to whip around. The Juke seems to be a great solution. The NJ Nissan dealer says no news has been released regarding gas mileage. All in all, however, the car does appear to be fairly compact. In addition, the New Jersey Nissan dealership I visited reminded me of Nissan’s commitment to lowering CO2 emissions so I can only expect the fuel efficiency will be respectable.
Inside, the NJ Nissan dealer expects the car to be spacious. A center console is reportedly sufficiently large and is designed with a motorcycle tank acting as inspiration. Several places throughout the interior, including the center console, are covered with a flashy color, to match the outside of the vehicle. My particular favorite is the eye-catching candy apple red. Also, industry insiders expect the bright inside colors won’t be the Juke’s only appeal. Power sunroof, a great audio system with subwoofer, Bluetooth phone capabilities, and in-dash iPod plug would certainly attract the young, trendy driver. Oh, and did I mention the GPS navigation system?
My favorite Nissan dealer in New Jersey, Hudson Nissan expects that Nissan will price the car between $15 and $18 thousand. At such a bargain, it will be hard to resist.
