So what’s this “EV” stuff anyway?

Beginning in 2012, the Nissan LEAF will be available in just about every state in America and will be manufactured in a plant in Tennessee.  But with all this hype about the Nissan LEAF as an “EV,” there are lots of confused consumers, critics and non-believers.  Therefore, as a Staten Island Nissan dealership anxious to bring you the Nissan LEAF, we at Hudson Nissan would like to take a few moments to answer some frequently asked questions about the Nissan LEAF. … Continue Reading

More Than Meets the Eye: The Nissan Rogue

Upon first glimpse of the Nissan Rogue, it may appear to be just your typical small SUV/crossover vehicle.  A scaled down version of its larger sibling, the Nissan Murano, the Nissan Rogue may further produce thoughts of compromise in both size and quality, solidified by its cheaper price tag.  For those of you nodding your head in agreement to these statements, we at your local New Jersey new Nissan dealership, Hudson Nissan, would like to ask – didn’t your mother ever teach you not to judge a book by its cover? … Continue Reading

370Z Wins Best Resale Value

370Z Wins Best Resale Value

Great news arrived at your New Jersey new Nissan dealership!  Kelly Blue Book has given the Nissan 370Z the 2010 Best Resale Value Award.   KBB typically gives this award to car companies that produce quality vehicles who keep their overall value.  It appears that Kelly Blue Book is really impressed with the 370Z.   To sum up a quote from them, they said that the car is affordable, and the most fun and powerful one in it’s class.  They would be happy to drive one new or used.  It’s a good time to see what makes this Staten Island new Nissan such a great auto!

The 370Z replaced Nissan’s 350Z, although much of the shape was kept.  One cool feature are the headlights.  They have a shape similar to a boomerang.  They give the car a really sporty look.  On the rear of the 370Z, the headlights take a fishhook shape and the rear has a “stubbier” shape.

Safety feature wise, the New Jersey new Nissan has many.  One of the components to keep drivers and passengers safe during travels is a Tire Pressure Monitor System.  This is perfect for helping prevent that flat tire miles from the closest service station!  Another impressive feature is Nissan’s Vehicle Dynamic Control.  What it does in layman’s terms is help control skids/accidents by applying brake pressure to the needed wheels and controls engine power.  A sports car you can feel safe in, now that’s cool.

Engine wise, the 370Z’s engine is larger than the 350Z’s it replaced.  In fact, the same engine in the 370 is used in the Infiniti G37.  It is a 3.7 L, v6 with “variable valve timing, variable valve lift and a redline of 7,500 rpm”.  The hp of 332 is actually a bit more than the hp found in the 2010 Mustang GT.  In a sports car, the engine is definitely one of the most important of the Staten Island Nissan parts.

The 370Z has a lot of fine amenities and is a great pick if you are in the market for a sports-type car with quite a bit of power.  Visit your Staten Island new Nissan dealer now to take a test drive!

NJ Nissan dealer welcomes new Nissan Rogue Krōm™

Nissan has decided to add another vehicle to their specialty Krōm lineup, next to the popular Cube’s version. This time it’s the 2010 Nissan NJ Rogue Krōm™.

Why Krōm? Nissan source Pat Steiner explains it in a nutshell- “Krōm™ adds a level of style and appearance, along with a sense of intrigue, excitement and self-expression. The Krōm™ name suggests ‘cars with attitude,’ rather than a literal interpretation of chrome wheels or trim.” … Continue Reading

I take excellent care of my car and I am not just spouting hot air. I have spent nearly $25,000.00 on a car that cost just slightly over 15,000.00 in the 11 years that I have owned it. This car has been in a major accident (2002) where the entire front had to be reconstructed, it has taken me to nearly 200,000 miles and it still does 100 mph on the highway ( […]
